Last night we got into town rather late and not many places were still serving food…that’s where Mecca Cafe comes to the rescue. It’s definitely not fancy, but it’s a great place for late night food and drinks. I had their DeWitt breakfast and my SO ordered their Chicken Fried Steak breakfast (which he raved about ... and has finally agreed this can be one of our stops when we’re on the west side of the state). We ate here at the recommendation from staff at our hotel when in Seattle last week and had breakfast for lunch that day. The classic French toast was wonderful! I was so looking forward to dining here and I’m glad I have. I had lunch the first day I was here and breakfast the next morning. The corn beef hash is extraordinary. Great diner! Had an eggs Benedict which was fabulous. Worth the upset stomach lol (not their fault I got belly issues). Hash browns super tasty. The staff was so nice. Had such fun diner vibes. The bar is a hidden gem!! We had such a good time we went back multiple times in the week. I had the Turkey Club with extra crispy fries and it was the best club I've had in the city. S/O to Russ being a great host/bartender. He always made sure we were always good.

We enjoyed our meals. French toast and a patty melt with fries. All was diner level delicious. Definitely recommend for a hearty lunch. Our friendly service from Jessie was top notch. She and Sonya were keeping things running smoothly!
